At the age of about 15 he got his first guitar. Motivated by his dad, who plays the guitar himself, he learned to play the guitar. It all started with Freddy Quinn Songs and he still admires him today, so that even on the first CD "Through Dust and Rain" there is a duet with his daddy on it. Together they sing the Freddy Quinn classic "Homeless".

Through the country show "It's Country Time," where he first came into contact with Johnny Cash and Don Williams, he had dedicated himself body and soul to country music. With his unmistakable, expressive voice, he is able to breathe life into the songs with his personal style. Not to mention his talent for entertainment!

Udo G. is simply country!
After 13 successful years of "Silverados", 4 CD's everyone is now going his own way. But Udo G. wouldn't be Udo G. if he couldn't add one more. He was able to win over good friends and companions. So he could proudly announce that he is going on tour with "REACH Country" for a year.

After this crazy year, which brought a lot of joy, he met Helmut by chance.

Man can say, not searched but found! Two like bad luck and brimstone. Here Udo G. found a new home in Helmut's Wild Country Band. The search was over, he had arrived!

A new era began with Wild Country.
